I am almost done the laundry room. Pictures are the only thing left inside, I am waiting for the photoboards to come back from the printer and the door is the only thing left on the outside. I will let the door be a surprise!
I love how the steel blue washer and dryer look almost aqua in the Sherwin Williams Spa Room.
We put a shelf up to eliminate some things from going behind the machines but I wanted it high enough to not block the access to the water valves.
My favorite thing is the vintage ladder I purchased from A Rustic Garden
I purchased from their Etsy shop but I think you can buy directly from their website. They were great to work with and had very fast turn around with the shipping. I explained what I wanted to use the ladder for-They even attached the large hooks and the chain for me. I am not sure where the large hooks came from they may be something they carry but I have a feeling they were salvage finds and if you order a ladder with hooks your hooks could be completely different. My husband just used ceiling drillers ( look like plant hangers) to attach to the ceiling.
The ladder came in a dark reddish brown originally. They will paint it any color you want but I wanted mine to come in exactly how they found it, I then dry brushed on Pure White and Provence Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan.
Love Love Love how it turned out.
I hope to have the pictures hung in a few weeks but I have a feeling the door replacement won’t happen until spring.
